Our Standing Group on Latin American Politics is delighted to present its new three-day Seminar on Democratic Legitimacy in Latin America, to be held at Radboud University, Nijmegen.

Join the conversation tackling democratic legitimacy in its many facets, from input legitimacy through formal and informal participation, throughput legitimacy in the political decision-making process, as well as output legitimacy with respect to contemporary policy issues, like environmental, social or cultural policies.

About the seminar

The seminar seeks to help raise awareness of the Standing Group on Latin American Politics and provide a platform for fruitful networking.

It will the first in-person event of the Standing Group since 2020 and will therefore also provide a great opportunity for coordination between the new Standing Group Steering Committee members.
